TUBE Privacy Policy

Effective Date: July 23, 2026

Tube Registrar LLC, doing business as TUBE (“TUBE,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), provides a monthly subscription service that combines .tube domain name registration with website hosting for a customer's branded channel page, which in turn displays and organizes links to the customer's video and social content on YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and other supported platforms (collectively, the “Services”). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and share it, how it is handled when we connect to YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram on your behalf, and the choices and rights available to you.

By using the Services you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

1. Who We Are and What This Policy Covers

TUBE is both a domain name registrar reseller/registrar of record for .tube domains and a website hosting provider. This Policy covers the Site (your.tube), Creator Handle registration, TUBE Channel hosting, account data, billing data, and data we obtain through connected third-party platforms. It does not cover the separate privacy practices of YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, or any other platform you choose to connect — those are governed by each platform's own privacy policy, linked in Section 6 below.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

    • Account information: name, email address, password, billing address, and payment details (processed by our PCI-DSS compliant payment processor — we do not store full card numbers).

    • Domain registrant (WHOIS/RDAP) information required by ICANN policy: registrant name, organization (if any), address, phone number, and email address for each .tube domain you register.

    • Content you upload or curate: channel design choices, text, logos, descriptions, and (on applicable tiers) uploaded video files.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

    • Usage data: IP address, device and browser type, pages visited, referring URLs, and timestamps.

    • Cookies and similar technologies, as described in Section 5.

2.3 Information from Connected Platforms (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and Others)

When you connect (synchronize) a YouTube channel, TikTok account, or Instagram account to build your TUBE Channel, or when our AI Curation feature searches and retrieves publicly available video information, we collect information through each platform's official, authorized API only — we do not scrape or use unofficial or unauthorized means to obtain platform data. Depending on the platform and the permissions you grant, this may include:

    • OAuth authentication tokens that allow us to connect to your account (we do not receive or store your platform password).

    • Public channel/profile metadata: channel or account name, profile image, public video/post titles, thumbnails, descriptions, and publish dates.

    • For YouTube: data obtained through the YouTube API Services, which is additionally subject to the Google Privacy Policy. By connecting a YouTube channel, you agree that the Google Privacy Policy applies to that data in addition to this Policy. You may revoke TUBE's access to your YouTube data at any time through your Google Security Settings page. Upon a valid deletion request or revocation of access, we will delete the associated YouTube API data as soon as practicable and in any event within 7 days of a verified user deletion request or within 30 days of disconnection or revocation, consistent with YouTube API Services Policies.

    • For TikTok: only Business/Creator or otherwise API-eligible accounts you legitimately control may be connected, in accordance with the TikTok Developer Terms of Service. We do not access, store, or share TikTok user data beyond what is necessary to display your public content and will delete TikTok API data upon disconnection or a verified deletion request within the timelines above.

    • For Instagram: only Instagram Business or Creator accounts linked to a Facebook Page may be connected through the Instagram Graph API, consistent with Meta's Platform Terms and Developer Policies. Meta deprecated third-party access to personal Instagram accounts (the Basic Display API) in December 2024, so personal accounts cannot be synchronized. Data obtained is also subject to the Meta Privacy Policy.

We use platform-derived data solely to build, display, and operate your TUBE Channel and Shortcuts, and to provide you with click/view metrics for your own links. We do not use it to profile end users who click your links beyond aggregate, non-identifying analytics, and we do not sell it.

3. How We Use Information

    • Provide, maintain, and improve the Services, including registering and renewing your .tube domain and hosting your Channel.

    • Process payments, manage your subscription, and communicate about billing, renewals, and account status.

    • Authenticate and synchronize connected platform accounts, and refresh Shortcuts when new content is published.

    • Provide AI Curation recommendations based on your stated topic and preferences.

    • Detect, deter, and prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of these policies or applicable law.

    • Comply with ICANN, registry, and legal obligations applicable to domain name registration.

    • Send service, security, and (with your consent, where required) marketing communications.

4. How We Share Information

4.1 Domain (WHOIS/RDAP) Data

ICANN registry rules require certain registrant data to be made available through RDAP/WHOIS lookups unless you purchase or are enrolled in a domain privacy/proxy service, in which case a proxy registrant's information is displayed publicly instead of yours, subject to the separate domain privacy service terms.

4.2 Service Providers

We share information with vendors who perform services on our behalf, such as payment processing, cloud hosting, customer support, and analytics, under contracts that limit their use of your information to providing services to us.

4.3 Connected Platforms

We do not sell data obtained from YouTube, TikTok, or Instagram APIs to third parties, and we do not use it for purposes outside those disclosed in Section 2.3, consistent with each platform's API terms.

4.4 Legal and Safety

We may disclose information to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, enforce our agreements, or protect the rights, property, or safety of TUBE, our users, or the public.

4.5 Business Transfers

If TUBE is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your information may be transferred, subject to this Policy or a policy providing at least equivalent protection.

5. Cookies, Tracking, and Your Choices

We use essential, functionality, and performance/analytics cookies as described in prior versions of this Policy. In addition:

    • We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal and other recognized opt-out preference signals as an exercise of your right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and targeted advertising, where required by applicable state law.

    • California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and a growing number of other states give residents rights to access, correct, delete, and port their personal information, and to opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of personal information, and certain profiling. You may exercise these rights by contacting us as described in Section 10; we will not discriminate against you for doing so.

    • The EU/UK GDPR provides similar rights (access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection) to individuals in the EEA and UK, and you may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

6. Children's Privacy

The Services are intended for users at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction), and users under 18 require parental or guardian consent, consistent with our Terms of Service. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you connect a YouTube channel or upload content, you are responsible for correctly identifying whether that content is “made for kids” in accordance with YouTube's policies and COPPA; we will pass through and rely on that designation when displaying the content and will not collect data from child-directed content in a manner inconsistent with YouTube's Terms of Service or COPPA.

7. Data Retention

We retain account and domain data for as long as your subscription is active and, thereafter, for the periods described in Section 4 of the Terms of Use (domain lapse and release back to the registry). We retain connected-platform (YouTube/TikTok/Instagram) API data only for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the Services or until you disconnect the platform or request deletion. We will delete such API data as soon as practicable and in any event within 7 days of a verified user deletion request or within 30 days of disconnection or revocation of access, consistent with applicable platform requirements (including YouTube’s 7-day and 30-day rules), except where a longer period is required to comply with law, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements. A clear mechanism is available in your account settings to request deletion of stored API data.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. We will notify affected users of a security breach involving personal information in accordance with applicable law.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or a prominent notice on the Site, with an updated Effective Date. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
